•To provide students with the opportunity to examine contemporary issues in Education in their international contexts
•To prepare students to be competent researchers in Education whether as practitioners or in preparation for further studies in Education
•To offer students the opportunity to consider innovative perspectives and approaches to Education
课程内容 Course Content ：
Students will undertake the following two core modules:
•Contemporary Issues in International Education
•Introduction to Educational Research Methods
And then choose one of the following specialist pathways which focus on different aspects of international education:
•Pedagogy (Lead module plus one other module)
•Innovation and Reform (Lead module plus one other module)
•Leading Communities of Learners (Lead module plus one other module)
•Special Educational Needs (subject to approval) (Lead module plus one other module)
教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment：
Modules are delivered by a combination of face-to-face seminars, classes and workshops supported by an online repository of relevant materials and the University Library, and students’ independent study. Course assessment will be by means of written essays and presentations, as well as a 15,000–20,000 word dissertation.
