The aims of the MSc (Eng) programme in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Technology are firstly to provide a bridge between university and industry for new graduates wishing to transfer smoothly and effectively to a career in the manufacturing industry.
Secondly, to provide an opportunity for those engaged in industry to update their knowledge on the state-of-the-art developments in manufacturing systems and technology.
The programme has been running for more than 20 years and it is constantly being upgraded to reflect the latest developments in technology, management tools and methodologies.
The introduction of CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) principles into this programme will further enrich the learning experience.
