学术要求: A first- or upper second-class undergraduate honours degree with a background in computing or psychology or with substantial computing or social science content. Mature applicants with relevant experience will also be considered on an individual basis. Successful applicants will have an interest in computing systems from a human perspective.
英语要求:IELTS 6.0, with not less than 6.0 in each section. Internet TOEFL with 80 overall including 22 in Speaking and 24 in Writing.

This programme explores how to apply techniques from cognitive science, psychology and software engineering to the design, implementation and evaluation of computing systems from a human-centred perspective. This MSc encompasses user experience and interaction design.

Autumn term: Academic Development ▪ Human-Computer Interaction ▪ Object-Oriented Programming ▪ Real-World Cognition. You also take one option from other Informatics courses such as Formal Computation Skills ▪ Introduction to AI ▪ Language Engineering.
Spring term: HCCS Advanced Topics ▪ Psychological Methods for Systems Evaluation ▪ Technology-Enhanced Learning Environments.
You also take one option from other Informatics courses such as E-Business and E-Commerce Systems ▪ Knowledge Representation ▪ Multimedia Design and Applications. Not all options are available every year. Additional options may be available.
Summer term: you undertake supervised work for the MSc dissertation, a project in which you either design and evaluate a human-centred computer system or investigate an aspect of interactivity.
