英语要求:IELTS 6.5, with not less than 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in the other sections. Internet TOEFL with 90 overall including 24 in Speaking and 25 in Writing.

All of our MSc programmes are recognised by the ESRC under its 1+3 scheme. Courses taken from these programmes make up the coursework component of the New Route DPhil in Economics (refer to Routes to postgraduate study at Sussex).
All of our MSc programmes have ‘internship’ variants. These allow you to take a three-month ‘internship break’ from May onwards for an approved purpose such as a placement in an international organisation or a research assistant post in a university.

The degree comprises two two-term courses – Econometric Methods ▪ Economic Analysis – plus one course in each term that may be chosen from a range of options, and a dissertation. The options will include both parts of Development Economics and International Economics, as well as other courses, the availability of which may vary from year to year.

You are assessed by unseen written examinations and a dissertation of 20,000 words.

Our Development Economics graduates have gone on to careers in economics, further study, and roles within the Ministry of Justice, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Embassy of Finland, and a number of charities.

Our International Economics graduates have gone on to further study, and also roles such as assistant economist for Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
