Overview
The Manufacturing Engineering MSc is intended for students with a first degree in an engineering subject who wish to specialize in the planning and simulation of manufacturing using computers. We will also consider applicants with degrees in scientific subjects other than engineering, or with appropriate industrial experience.
Semester one of the programme is devoted to lectures, coursework and examinations in technical areas relevant to manufacturing modelling. Semester two is broader, including courses on research methods and project management.
The final third of the Programme is spent on a full-time project leading to an MSc dissertation.
