学术要求： The basic requirement for admission to the LL M programme is a recognised first degree in law (or a degree with substantial law content) of at least good upper second class honours standard or an equivalent overseas qualification. Exceptionally, you may be considered where a comparable academic level has been achieved through other graduate studies, or where work or experience has made you a suitable candidate for the LLM.

The LLM will focus its core on international trading and financial/banking transactions (eg. modules such as International Trade Law and the Law of International Finance) and the resolution of international business disputes through arbitration and/or business litigation (eg. modules such as International Commercial & Investment Arbitration and International Business Transactions – Litigation).

Core programme content
You need to study full- or half-modules worth 180 credits.
You select 120 credits worth of taught modules from our extensive list of modules (tailored LLM option) or modules related to a specialist pathway (specialist LLM option).
For an additional 40 credits you either write a 15,000 word dissertation (40 credits), or a 7,500 word research essay (20 credits) and study a further half-module of your choice (20 credits). To assist with your research you attend a compulsory legal skills half-module (20 credits).
The modules listed below are those related specifically to the LLM in International Business Law pathway. The general Master of Laws entry lists all available LLM modules.
教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment：
You will need to have studied the equivalent of four full modules including the compulsory elements. Modules are assessed in the third semester (May/June). Assessment is by written examination alone or through a written examination/coursework combination. You submit your dissertation or research essay in September after the May/June examinations.
