学术要求: A minimum of a good second-class honours degree in any subject. You will need to show significant evidence of numeric ability either from your undergraduate degree or from advanced school qualifications (for example an A-level or high grade GCSE in maths). Applications from students without these qualifications but with relevant work experience will be considered.

The course equips you with the skills necessary to make sense of accounting information, analyse problems and participate fully in management decision making. The modules cover all aspects of accounting, providing excellent preparation for a professional qualification.
课程内容 Course Content :
In Semester 1 students will study three modules.
•Management Accounting Techniques introduces students to the key management accounting concepts and techniques. The key disciplinary areas of planning, controlling, decision-making and performance measurement will form the basis of the module.
•Financial Accounting Techniques introduces students to the basic theories and techniques of financial accounting.
•Corporate Finance Concepts considers how accounting and corporate finance issues are related. Fundamental ideas and theories of corporate finance will be studied and links made between accounting practice and corporate financial decisions.
In Semester 2 students will study three further modules.
Decision Making and Control will take the basic management accounting concepts studied in Semester 1 and use them as the basis for advanced study of management accounting. In addition the module will consider the links between accounting control, business strategy and performance management systems.
Financial Reporting will look at more advanced topics in reporting including some specific problem areas for reporting such as accounting for intangible assets.
Audit and Assurance will cover key aspects of auditing theory and practice alongside an introduction to governance issues as they relate to accounting.

Much of the teaching on the course takes the form of interactive workshops, but there are also lectures from staff and visiting speakers. Lectures, discussions, role-play exercises, learning packages and seminars are linked with selected case studies and assessments to strengthen your practical analysis and decision-making skills.
