学术要求： Entry standards are high and require at least a good upper second-class degree from a good UK University; GPA of 3.6 or higher from a good US University; 85% or higher from a good PR China University. Degree background should include studies in economics or cognate areas (eg business studies, management) and other social sciences. High literacy, numeracy and analytical ability are required. Class size is restricted, and entry is highly competitive.
英语要求：If English is not the first language, evidence of high English language competency is required eg IELTS 7, or IELTS 6.5, plus four-weeks pre-sessional English at St Andrews.

教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment：
Assessment is in most modules is by a combination of a formal examination and other continuous assessment. In most of the modules you take your examination will be worth 50% of your overall grade (EC5503 is 100% continuous assessment). Examinations are two hours in length and take place at the end of each teaching semester. The rest of your grade is made of continuous assessment. The nature of this continuous assessment varies from module to module.
