Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or above in a relevant subject or equivalent recognised qualification. In exceptional circumstances by interview and portfolio submission.

•IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or
•TOEFL* score of 92 (Internet-based test) with minimum scores of 21 for Listening, 22 for Reading, 23 for Speaking and 21 for Writing

To develop skills in the critical analysis of film and visual culture; to apply these skills in the production of creative work in film and photography; to acquire basic or enhanced image-making skills.
Combination of creative practice in film alongside studies in contemporary critical issues and debates.

Film Practice Workshops and Project Development
Research Methods for Critical and Creative Practice
Screenwriting
Dissertation/Advanced Film Practice
Plus a dissertation/major creative project (equivalent to two modules)
教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment：
Creative Project: A short film accompanied by a written component theorising the work (not exceeding 5,000 words). Project topic to be agreed with designated supervisor; or
Critical Project (Written): Topic to be agreed with designated supervisor, not exceeding 15,000 words.
