入学要求 Requirement：
学术要求：A minimum of a lower class second class honours degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject, or associate membership of an appropriate professional engineering institution (e.g. IEng, AMIStructE or similar) with appropriate postgraduate experience gained in structural engineering.
英语要求：A minimum overall score of 6.0 is required from the IELTS test, with not less than 5.5 in listening and reading, and not less than 5.0 in speaking and writing.

课程特征 Course Features：
It is designed to provide BSc(Hons) and BEng(Hons) qualified Civil and Structural Engineers with the educational base required for Chartered Structural Engineer status, and to help graduates satisfy some of the IStructE IPD requirements.
This programme is a unique collaborative venture between the School of Civil Engineering, local and regional industry and the Yorkshire Branch of the IStructE.

Students will also undertake a dissertation and may select a topic from a range of field, laboratory, computer or literature based projects, or may prose a topic of their choice. In all cases a member of academic staff will be assigned as a supervisor for the project.
