The overall purpose of the course is to enable students to develop knowledge and skills in relation to the legal rules regulating the international corporate law and corporate governance issues in the UK, as well as at a global level.

Compulsory modules
Insolvency Law
Looking at the history of insolvency and insolvency in today's world, the meaning of insolvency, consequences that flow from that state and the theory, aims, purposes and principles that underpin the law.
Advanced Corporate Law
This module will consider a number of the primary contemporary issues and problems extant in corporate law and possible solutions and reforms.
Research Methods
Provides you with research skills and methods to assist in the dissertation plan.
International Corporate Governance
The aim of the module is to provide a comprehensive study of the role of corporate governance (essentially how companies are governed) in the world economy.
Dissertation
Enables students to develop specialist knowledge and deepen their understanding of a substantive aspect of the field.
