学术要求：Upper second class degree in law or social sciences or Non-UK equivalent. Some knowledge of criminal law is required, demonstrated by suitable qualification or experience.
英语要求： IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 6.5 in reading and writing, and at least 6.0 in listening and speaking

Our broad aims are:
•To provide a conducive atmosphere for postgraduate study within the context of a research-based institution.
•To facilitate rigorous understanding of, and engage in discourse with students about, the nature, ideologies, purposes, underlying assumptions, dynamic interactive processes, and outcomes of the criminal justice system.
•To acquaint students with relevant bodies of established knowledge and the latest research findings, and develop an awareness of the interconnections between research methodologies, theoretical perspectives, policies, processes and practices .
•To shall develop in students a critical awareness of social science research methodologies and techniques.
•To develop in students the ability to translate awareness and understanding of research methodologies and techniques into practice.

Currently the compulsory modules for full-time students are:
•Criminal Justice Processes, (30 credits),
•Dissertation (60 credits)
•Research Methods (15 credits)
•Advanced Criminal Law (30 credits)
In addition, students are required to choose a combination of modules totalling a further 45M credits. Optional modules offered may include: Policing, Forensic Processes, Theories of Crime and Punishment, Criminal Justice Policies & Perspectives, Cybercrime, Human Rights and the Internet.
